MIU MIU showed a mysteriously sexy Spring 2013 collection last October at the Palais d'Iéna in Paris. The collection reminded me of walking french femme fatales from the 50s ala
Mildred Pierce (1948) starring Joan Crawford wearing all the codes of haute couture back in the days. It was classic yet perverse. Using contemporary fabrics like
Denim lined with
Duchesse satin, Duchesse Satin crumpled, creased and tie-dyed looked ultra modern yet classic and super chic!
That certain allure of a woman that 'men want, but shouldn't have!' complimented the subtle well-cut clothing that would clearly draw attention to the woman wearing them. But ofcourse done in a tasteful way, the Miuccia Prada way.
It is by far my favorite Spring Summer 2013 Campaign!
